(1) According to "Essai de liste générale des cardinaux. Les cardinaux du XIè siècle". Annuaire Pontifical Catholique 1927, p. 131, n. 1, the see of Tivoli was declared a suburbicarian diocese in 1049 but, without a doubt, many of its occupants had already been personally created cardinals.
(2) Gams, Series episcoporum Ecclesiae catholicae, p. 733, says that on that date he either died or resigned the see.
