Education. (No information found).

Early life. Provost for two years of the chapel of S. Giorgio in the Lateran palace. Subdeacon and librarian of the Holy Roman Church; as such, he signed papal bulls issued between January 1063 and April 1069; substituted for Archchancellor Annone from March 1063 until May 1067.

Cardinalate. Created cardinal deacon in a consistory celebrated in 1069 (1); his deaconry is not known. Subscribed, as cardinal deacon and librarian, papal bulls issued between April 13 and May, 1069. Named cardinal priest of S. Clemente, chancellor and librarian of the Holy Roman Church. Subscribed papal bulls issued between January 1070 and April 1073; the bulls concerned benefices granted to the sees of the kingdom of Bohemia; the sees of Bologna, Pisa and Florence; and the monasteries of Montecassino, of Mantua and of S. Frediano of Lucca. Legate in England, together with Cardinal Giovanni Minuzzo of S. Maria in Trastevere; he presided the Council of Winchester in 1070.

Death. Ca. 1073, (no place found). Buried (no information found).
