Webgraphy. Biography in Histoire de tous les cardinaux françois de naissance, ou qui ont esté promeus au cardinalat. [Volume 1] / by François Duchesne (1616-1693). Auteur du texte, in French, p. 125-126, Gallica.

(1) This is according to "Essai de liste générale des cardinaux. Les cardinaux du XIIè siècle". Annuaire Pontifical Catholique 1928, p. 131, no. 58; "Essai de liste générale des cardinaux. Les cardinaux du XIè siècle". Annuaire Pontifical Catholique 1927, p. 152, no. 52, says that an Yves, born in Chartres, Can. Reg. of Saint Augustine in the abbey of Saint-Victor of Paris, was created cardinal in 1099, citing Cristofori. Cristofori, Cronotasi dei cardinali di Santa Romana Chiesa, p. 266, says that he was promoted to the cardinalate in 1099, that his title is unknown and calls him Ivo, Can. Reg. de Chartres; on p. 139, Cristofori says that he was created cardinal priest of S. Lorenzo in Damaso in 1130, occupied it until 1137, and calls him Ivo. Du Chesne, Histoire de tous les cardinaux françois, II, 125, says that he was created cardinal priest of S. Lorenzo in Damaso during the Council of Clermont celebrated in December 1130. Cardella, Memorie storiche de' cardinali della Santa Romana Chiesa, I, pt. 2, 35, and Chacón, Vitæ, et res gestæ Pontificvm Romanorum et S. R. E. Cardinalivm, I, col. 1003, say that the date of his promotion to the cardinalate is unknown.
(2) According to Du Chesne, Histoire de tous les cardinaux françois, II, 126, the anniversary of Cardinal Yves is marked in the martyrology of the abbey of Saint-Victor of Paris on treisiezme des Kalendes de Iuillet, which probably was the date of his death.
