Subscribed papal bulls issued between December 31, 1152 and June 16, 1153; July 23, 1153 and February 14, 1154; February 11 and July 21, 1155. Participated in the papal election of 1153, in which Pope Anastasius IV was elected. Legate in Germany before Emperor Fridriech I Barbarossa in 1154; he fell in desgrace in Magdeburg and had to return to Rome. Participated in the papal election of 1154, in which Pope Adrian IV was elected.
