Bibliography. Cardella, Lorenzo. Memorie storiche de' cardinali della Santa Romana Chiesa. Rome : Stamperia Pagliarini, 1792, I, pt. 2, 81-82.

(1) Cardella, Memorie storiche de' cardinali della Santa Romana Chiesa, I, pt. 2, 82, says that he only appears as subscriber of a bull in 1154; but that, at the time, the title was occupied by a Cardinal Gregorio, created by Pope Innocent II, and that the former appears as subscriber, with the exception of 1154, before and after that year. Cardella adds that it is very unlikely that the titular church would have been assigned to a cardinal for a brief time and then given back to the previous occupant.
