(1) The diocese of Sabina included those of Foronovo, Curi, and Metana, united under that name in 984. The episcopal series starts after 415. This is its first cardinal. The diocese of Poggio Mirteto was united to Sabina on June 3, 1925. Gams, Series episcoporum Ecclesiae catholicae, p. XII, lists him as bishop of Sabina and says that some sources indicate that he was bishop of Rieti.
